We are a creative team based in the beautiful state of Montana. The beauty here inspires us, as do our travels abroad. Both Joel and I have had an interest in art since childhood whether it was sketching, painting or making pottery. Currently we mainly paint in oils, but I also watercolor and dabble in photography when we visit other countries.

We start by getting inspiration from photos and sketches. However, after we have the subject matter, we start to create the paintings by manipulating the colors and using a range of different types of brush strokes to make our art unique. I am also a veterinarian so animals are a big part of our lives. We have 3 cats and a dog who often help us out in our studio and who are also inspirations for my  Cats and Plants series.

We are always excited to try new things- subject matter, techniques and media. We have all types of art for you from Joel’s trains to my cats! So, thank you for viewing our art- we hope something catches your eye or at least, gives you creative inspiration!
